Born at Barcelona in 1984, Gerard begins to direct with only 10 years, his first films were short documentaries with his father 9mm camera. After finishing the degree of Telecommunications engineering at the Universidad Politécnica of Catalunya, he decides to make a trip to Sydney, Australia, to study his true passion: film direction and screenplay. He attends to the International Film School Sydney between 2009 and 2011, directed, producing, editing and writing a lot of short films. “Qué verán los dragones en chicas como yo” (2019) is one of the most awarded short films in international festivals.
In 2012, Gerard traveled from Australia to México. He directed a lot of ads for brands such as BMW, FIAT, Nutrioli, Telcel, General Motors and LALA, some of them, awarded in the United States.
In cinema, he directed the second season of “Espectro” (201), “No sé si cortarme las venas o dejármelas largas” (2013) and the not premiered yet “Mind Puppets” (2016).
