Based in Bogotá but with his mind in other universes, Mauricio is a director known for his powerful storytelling and unique visual style. He has directed commercials, music videos, films, documentaries, and series—navigating between worlds that enrich his creative vision. He began as a creative in advertising, later working as an assistant director and editor, before becoming a director at some of Colombia’s top production companies. Mauricio has worked with major networks like HBO, National Geographic, and Discovery. He has filmed in countries such as Argentina, France, and the U.S., and has received international recognition including London Awards, Effie, and the Society of Illustrators Gold Medal.

Juan Pablo Zuluaga

I’m Juan Pablo Zuluaga Buccafusca, a Colombian-Argentinian director with Italian roots and a nomadic spirit. For over 15 years, I’ve been telling stories through the lens—commercials, series, music videos—wherever there’s emotion, that’s where I’ll be. I trained in Buenos Aires, New York, Madrid, and Barcelona—cities that shaped my artistic perspective. Besides being a director, I’m also an actor, a photographer, and a relentless seeker of anything that smells like art. I love creating, waking up early, meditating, and, most of all, sharing life with my daughter Paloma—my driving force, my muse, and my greatest source of inspiration.

Mariano Carranza is an Emmy-nominated director and producer focused on documentaries, commercials, and premium content centered on food, culture, and identity. With a background at VICE, CNN, and Netflix (Street Food: USA), his style blends documentary insight with a refined visual approach. He directed a film with chef Gastón Acurio, premiered at the San Sebastián Film Festival. A Tisch School of the Arts graduate and guest lecturer, he works independently with clients like Lonely Planet, Bloomberg, and AB InBev.
